As I tell my undergraduate students there once was a time not too long ago when cell phones and email didn’t exist and you had to physically go to the library to conduct research. They look at me as if I have three heads, and I hope they are thinking, “Professor, you don’t look that old!” In the scheme of things I am not that old, but sometimes I sit back and think about all the technology that has come to be in such a short time and I am amazed.
Seven years ago I set out to help grassroot nonprofits and local school districts with their fund development and communication efforts. Thanks to the many people who put their trust in me, Krisp Communications is now a team of three, and over the summer we built an office to call home. Sometimes I sit back and think about how far I have come in such a short time and I am amazed, thankful, and yes, proud.
