About the Team

Krisp Communications is unique in that we are more than a public relations agency, more than fund development consultants. Clients quickly learn that we are a team of nonprofit professionals who are experienced in working with board members, staff, and volunteers to manage all aspects of an organization’s project.

Kristine Parkes, MA, CFRE

Kristine Parkes, CFRE, is passionate about nonprofits, and her background as a volunteer, staff member, board member, and more than 11 years as a consultant allows her to bring a complete perspective to every project. As a certified Standards for Excellence consultant through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and licensed by Standards for Excellence Institute, she helps nonprofits apply best practices to their operations.

Kristine serves on the board of the Association of Fundraising Professionals - Berks Regional Chapter as the vice president of communications. She is the professional advisor for La Salle University’s Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter, and also serves on the Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Alumnae Committee. She is a past Public Relations Society of America Independent Practitioners Alliance executive committee member and Tri-County Area YWCA board member. Kristine was named Volunteer of the Year by the Tri-County Area YWCA in 2002.

Over the years, Kristine has inspired a new generation of professionals by teaching public relations and grant writing as an adjunct professor at area universities. She often speaks to professionals about public relations, development, and nonprofit management issues.

Kristine holds a Communications, B.A., and a Professional Communication, M.A., from LaSalle University. She earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation from the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
